Dylan grew up in northern NSW and spent much of his childhood chasing Murray cod in the rivers and creeks near his home. After spending time finishing schooling and university studies on the coast he was keen to immerse himself back into the rural lifestyle and moved to the central west of NSW where he spent as much time outdoors as possible. In December of 2018 he returned to the New England and his roots and continues to spend time in the places that inspired the outdoor lifestyle of his youth. Together with his wife he goes to great lengths to live a life in the outdoors. Whether it be hunting, fishing, camping, raising livestock on their small property or working in their veggie garden they are always cooking food that is full of nutrients and wild experiences.
